Additional equipment for atomic absorption spectrophotometers

Electrothermal atomizer GFA

  • Highly sensitive, longitudinally heated graphite furnace.
  • Cuvettes: graphite, pyro-coated graphite, with a platform. Maximum atomization temperature 3000 ° C.
  • The maximum possible residence time of the determined atoms, the maximum sensitivity.
  • Smooth and impulse heating.
  • Optical control of the temperature of atomization and ashing of the sample.
  • Assessment and accounting of the degree of deterioration of the graphite furnace before each atomization cycle, constant
  • drying temperature regardless of the degree of wear of the oven.
  • Detection limits are 0.001 - 0.1 ppb for most elements.

Autosampler ASC

A single autosampler for a flame and a furnace allows performing a sequence of independent measurement cycles without operator intervention, including automatic construction and verification of calibrations, dilution of samples outside the calibration ranges (concentration degree - up to 20, dilution - up to 300), additional measurements to achieve the required the reliability of the results.
Simultaneous or sequential dosage of up to 5 different reagents into the furnace, including modifier, etc. Automatic microdosing function.

Hydride Vapor Generator HVG-1

For selective determination of As, Se, Bi, Sn, Sb, Te, Ge, Hg, at the level of ppb units, forming volatile hydrides obtained in the process of chemical reduction of the element to be determined and its subsequent atomic absorption determination.

Attachment for determination of mercury MVU-1A

For highly sensitive cold vapor determination of trace mercury at 0.01-0.1 ppb.

Atomic booster

The installation of an atomic booster helps a part of the flame to remain inside the quartz tube, since the upper slot, 80 mm wide, corresponding to the flame exit, is shorter than the lower slot through which the flame enters. Keeping the flame inside the tube increases the density of the atomized elements and thus improves sensitivity.

The use of a booster in order to proportionally increase the sensitivity is, in particular, effective for elements, the atomization of which occurs at relatively low temperatures. For a number of elements, the sensitivity is improved 3 times.
